One of the main purposes of most smart home projects is to develop new technologies for residential application. For these projects to evolve from prototypes to actual products, the potential consumers of these products need easier informational access to our innovations. The virtual home will allow people to visit and explore our technologies without ever needing to visit the physical house. Also, using the virtual home, we will be able to virtually prototype new project interfaces within the house before going into the expense of building a physical prototype.
